I just got this so i thought i'd put you up on the new mixtape from G Dep. His last album was slept on and i haven't heard anything for awhile so i'm curious to hear what he's been working on. check it out...let me know what you think.

For several when you mention the name G Dep, many things come up, some good some bad for the last past 6 years. G Dep also known as the 'Deputy' has been battling his demons, however threw it all, he has not stopped doing what made him famous in the beginning, which is spitting lyrics that made him a hot commodity to one of the biggest labels and executives in the game. Releasing his debut album on Bad Boy Records, which scanned over 300K with the hit records "Special Delivery" and "Let's Get It", G Dep had the whole world doing the Harlem Shake and was gaining respect as a true MC, which put G Dep on the Hip Hop radar as bonafide Super Star.
After rumors of being dropped from Bad Boy, though not publicly confirmed, Dep was forced to fend for himself and face his demons of drugs by doing time on Rikers Island. For many, this was a regular thing to a child of the ghetto, but it was a wake up call that made G Dep put his life in prospective and be accountable for his own actions and inflicting harm to himself.
After doing his time, a sober G Dep was released and is now back on the music scene destined to regain what was a sure thing, his Rap super stardom. Dep is back on track and in the studio working on his new album with heavy hitters like Dame Grease, Ron Browz, Needles, Eazy El Pee, Keez to the city Ron G, Taylor Made and Double Nickelz to name a few. With the release of his new mixtape titled "Deponomics" aka The Hiatus, hosted by mixtape heavy weight DJ E.
